Max McNulty is the Studio Manager, Head of Marketing & Social Media, and Sound Engineer at Powerhouse Studios, joining in June 2024. He holds a BA (Hons) in Music and Sound Recording from the University of York and has since worked with Britannia Row Productions on projects with artists like Dua Lipa, The 1975, and Loyle Carner. Max also worked as part of the main stage crew at Creamfields 2024, supporting performances by Calvin Harris and MK. Since 2018, Max has been recording, mixing, and mastering music for his solo project Falling Heights and various other artists. He writes, records, and performs all his own music, bringing a hands-on approach to his craft. Max is passionate about creating a dynamic and creative space at Powerhouse, pushing the studio forward through his production services and exciting Powerhouse projects.

Samuel Brice
Samuel Brice is a Sound Engineer, Rehearsal Supervisor and Drum Technician at Powerhouse Studios and Starstruck since August 2019. He holds a BA (Hons) in Music Technology and Popular Music from the University of Huddersfield. Sam's deep passion for music and music tech started when he picked up the drums at 11 years old and has since gone on to play in numerous bands. He currently produces, mixes and plays synthesisers for electronic metal group An Exit To Breathe and plays drums for punk/ska band The Fanzines (with Powerhouse's own Danny Hawkins), Blondie tribute Atomic Rapture, funk/soul/disco group The Chain Gang and, most recently, originals rock band The Cold Blooded Hearts. He is a DJ under the name Shuffla and plays at functions including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and school discos. Sam loves meeting and helping fellow musicians at Powerhouse Studios, especially when recording and producing their music. You may find him in the office watching The Chase!
