Ted Claxton
Ted came to Powerhouse to record his Math Rock EP “Strange Land”. As an artist, Ted can play a plethora of instruments, and so wrote and played all of the parts to his songs himself.
The first step was for him to record the EP, so over the span of a few days, Ted recorded drums, bass, guitar and vocals, using his Ibanez guitar, Yamaha bass and Drum kit.
Once all the songs were mixed and Mastered, he came back to shoot a music video for one of the songs – his vision was to play all the instruments together in one video. We had originally planned on a green screen, but ended up with deciding to shoot on some “strange land” down the road, where the concrete seems to go on forever.
Lastly, both short and long form content was made and Ted promoted his EP on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
